History:
D2’s history begins in 2013 with the unveiling of Downtown Dispensary. The founders of the Downtown Dispensary and their staff endeavored daily to help the medical marijuana patients of Tucson by offering quality cannabis products in a comfortable and compassionate space. Their staff made themselves available to any and all cannabis-related questions. To further its progressive impact, the Downtown Dispensary has committed a portion of their proceeds every year to charitable, non-profit organizations and other patient programs to educate cannabis patients about their rights. The Tucson community matters to them, and it shows. In 2015, just a short two years after first opening, the Tucson Weekly awarded the Downtown Dispensary the honor of Tucson’s Best Marijuana Dispensary. And in 2016, they won Tucson’s Best yet again. It was then the founders understood their medical marijuana dispensary mattered to the community, too. In an effort to reach a greater base of patients in and around Tucson, they opened D2 on the east side of town.

D2’s eastern location along East 22nd Street in Tucson makes it easy for patients to access their critically acclaimed stock and atmosphere. Instead of having to drive across town and deal with the University of Arizona traffic, or traffic along the 10 and 19, to access the Downtown Dispensary, Tucson patients can now just mosey on down South Kolb Road to find D2. Patients residing anywhere from Casas Adobes to the Catalina Foothills and even those over near Saguaro National Park East may now easily access D2’s premium product without having to travel too far.
